Twins of Different Mothers-2

From my shoot with Sie ist Idaho and Blue River Dream. I'm still wading through edits--lots of lovely results from this shoot.

This particular shot comes from a sequence where I told the two models one particular element I wanted in the poses...I wanted an emotional connection. Too many poses with two models end up looking like just two really attractive women together....or perhaps posed sappho poses...or unique flowing poses but little or not connection between the models. In this case, I told BRD and SiI, you don't need to touchbut I want an emotional connection...maybe it's eye contact, maybe it's a facial expression. I wanted them to "connect" even if there was no physical "connection" (or contact). We ended up with a range of poses and lots of good results. I particularly like this one b/c even though the two of them aren't making eye contact, there clearly is a connection between the two. And Sie's look directly back into the camera especially works for this collective pose--a great example of two different behaviors/expressions by the models that work seamlessly to form a cohesive whole.
